Just like our regular dumpster, the BinBag can be used to dispose of most non-toxic, non-hazardous materials. Here is a partial list of acceptable items:
The following items may not be placed into our BigBAGs. These need to be disposed of by specialized recycling centers.
Items in this list can and should be recycled. Unfortunately only some of these can be recycled in our area.
Select a convenient place for the BinBag (see guidelines below) and unfold your BinBag on the ground. The BinBag sides will not hold their shape very well when the bag is empty. To make loading easier, stand inside the BinBag and fold the sides out and down starting with one corner. As you fill the BinBag, roll the sides back up.
Before starting to fill the BinBag, make sure the lifting straps are hanging outside the bag. These have to be able to come together once the bag is full so that our crane can hook into them and load the BinBag into the truck.
Bin-Boys Dumpster Rental will collect your BinBag using a large truck equipped with an overhead crane that can reach up to 15 ft from the edge of the street, alley, or driveway. Prior to filling your BinBag please remember to position it in a place where it can be picked up. Your BinBag must be placed on your property (not on sidewalks, streets, or other public property).
BinBag must be placed at least 5 ft from any structures, fences, trees, vehicles, or other objects that may be damaged during pick up or obstruct pick up altogether.
It is crucial that your BinBag is NOT placed under any wires, trees, or overhead structures that may prevent pick up or be damaged during pick up. The BinBag truck needs at least 20 ft of vertical clearance to operate.
The crane on our collection truck can reach over a 4 ft fence provided the fence is within 5 ft of the street, alley, or driveway. We CANNOT collect your BinBag placed behind a privacy fence.
In order to keep our truck from your driveway, the center of the BinBag must be placed on your property no farther than 15 ft from the edge of the street.
If you require our truck to drive onto your driveway for collection, you must sign the damage waiver attached to the BinBag. Please sign the damage waiver, place it in a plastic bag, and attach it to the outside of your BinBag for collection. Your driveway must be at least 10 ft wide for our truck to fit. The center of the BinBag must be placed on your property no farther than 15 ft from any point on your driveway. You can view and print the damage waiver here.
The center of the BinBag must be placed on your property no farther than 15 ft from the alley. Please note: our truck may not be able to turn into a driveway from an alley. Your BinBag must be accessible from the alley.
The BinBag can safely hold up to 3300 lbs. (or approximately one cubic yard) of heavy materials, such as dirt, brick, rock, sod, concrete, sand, asphalt, plaster, stucco, etc.. To make use of the full capacity of your BinBag, you may put lighter debris on top of the heavy material.
You may place your BinBag inside your garage. Please sprinkle some sand, rice or crushed uncooked spaghetti under the bag prior to filling so it is easier to slide out into your driveway.
Yes, BinBag are safe to use up to their full capacity, provided that the load does not exceed 3300 lbs. Please remember that the lifting straps must be able to connect above the BinBag. We may charge you extra if we cannot complete your scheduled collection due to overloading.
If a sharp piece of debris punctures your BinBag, it will not continue to tear unless a sharp object continues to cut through the material. If you notice a puncture please reposition the debris to avoid further tearing.
When we pick up your full BinBag we load the bag and its contents and dispose of both. We do not return your BinBag after it has been collected.
Yes, we can pick up two or three bags at once.
It is very unlikely that our mid-size trucks cause damage to your driveway. However if you request that we use your driveway or other parts of your property to collect the BinBag, we do ask you to sign a Driveway Damage Waiver. We will not enter your property without it.
Our normal service area is a 15 mile radius around our yard on 1901 Truman Rd. in Springfield. For pickups outside of our service area we add $4 per mile fuel surcharge.
